Shara Celebrates Chinese New Year

The Asian New Year begins….it’s the Year of the Snake. The Jade Buddha Temple in Alief welcomed members and well-wishers with a celebration in the Grand Hall. Festivities in our Houston Asian Communities will run for 15 days, culminating with the Lantern Festival. It is a time to gather families, to show gratitude for life and health, to feast and to wish each other good things in the coming year.
