FRIENDLIER SKIES: More Electronic Devices Will Be Allowed in Fight

Passengers may soon find the skies a little friendlier. The Federal Aviation Administration announced on Thursday that they will soon allow passengers to use portable electronic devices during takeoffs, landings and taxiing.

FAA Administrator Michael Huerta announced the change at Regan National Airport in Washington, D.C.

Under the changes, passengers will be able to read e-books, play games, listen to music and play games. However, they will only be able to connect to the Internet during the planes' wi-fi connection when the plane is more than 10,000 feet in the air. Also, talking on your phone will continue to be banned during flights.
