Weather Puts Damper on Christmas Travel plans

Heavy rain forced delays at Houston airports on Saturday, causing delays of up to three hours at Hobby Airport and stranding travelers trying to make it home for the holidays.

It’s all part of a front that is affecting travel plans across the Midwest and the East.    Heavy snow remains in the forecast for hubs like Chicago and St. Louis, and flooding is in the forecast for the East.

Monday is expected to be another heavy travel day, so carriers suggest you check with them before heading to the airport
