Thousands Turn Out For Early Voting In Harris County

It's been an impressive showing by Harris County voters so far this election season

Early voting in Harris County ended with its strongest day yet, as nearly 19,000 people voted in person on Friday. That brought the 12-day early voting total to over 109,000. County Clerk Stan Stanart credits many factors for the high turnout.

"Many are eager to participate in the Mayor's race as well as the Astrodome. The message regarding Voter ID was also recieved throughout the county."

Those who haven't yet cast a ballot can do so on Election Day this Tuesday, at their designated precinct location.
