Professor Adams says the American Dream going forward may not be what it was for past generations.
"Parents always hope for a better life for their kids then they themselves have and they see their children move back home after college because they can't find a job and they're covered with a mound of debt."
Professor Adams says it's tougher for his students to find good work straight out of school.
