Houston Race Fans Hurt in Grand Prix Crash

The Houston Fire Department reports that 13 people were hurt at the Grand Prix of Houston, when debris from a crash flew into the crowd. 

Most were treated at the scene, but two were taken to the hospital.

Indy car driver Dario Franchitti’s vehicle went airborne into the fence on the final lap at Reliant Park.   Franchitti’s injuries are not yet known, but he is said to be conscious and alert.
