Gun Rights Supporters Descend on Houston This Weekend

Hundreds of Second Amendment supporters meet in Houston this weekend for the 28th Annual Gun Rights Policy Conference.  All the action is held at the Marriott Hotel at Bush Intercontinental Airport starts with a reception tonight.  About 500 people have already preregistered.

The organization's founder, Alan Gottlieb, says there is a full agenda for the annual gathering.

“We'll go over about everything you can think of, from federal legislation to state and local legislation, everything going on in the courts,” Gottlieb promises.  “We'll be dealing with stand your ground laws.”

He says those attending can find out a lot of information available nowhere else.

“It's a great place to learn what's going on, the behind the scenes action on lobbying,” Gottlieb says.  “It's the kind of place where you're going to find information on the battle to keep and bear arms.”
