Facebook is getting complicated. On one hand, researchers say some kids feel "isolated and depressed" because of the social network, but they're not logging off. On the other hand, the cool kids are leaving Facebook for other social media platforms.
Social media expert Chris Kraft says lots of kids no longer think Facebook is cool.
"You know now that grandma is on Facebook it's certainly not cool and more than 60% of 'em are setting their Facebook profiles to private."
Some teens say they're on Facebook constantly and they hate it. KTRH Digital Media Director Michelle Lin is a parent and she says some kids determine their self-worth based on Facebook.
"They can come up with their own determination of self-worth from something that isn't true or valid."
Experts say kids leaving Facebook are migrating to Twitter, Tumblr and picture sharing services.
