Arrests Made in Weekend Mass Shooting

The Harris County Sheriff's Office says they have made two arrests in the mass shooting that killed two over the weekend.

Police have arrested 21-year-old Willie Young and 18-year-old Randy Stewart following the shooting this weekend at a birthday party that left two people dead and 22 injured.

So far, the men have been charged with deadly conduct and aggravated assault but homicide charges are expected.  Two Morton Ranch High School students were killed in the shooting and school officials have increased security on the campus in Katy.

Police say at least 100 people were at the house party in Cypress where the shooting took place.  The party was advertised mostly on social media which is why so many were present.

The two Morton Ranch High School students killed have been identified as 11th grader Qu’eric Richardson and 10th grader Arielle Shepherd.
