Another Armed Robbery on UH Campus

Police at the University of Houston are investigating after a visitor on campus was robbed at gunpoint Friday evening.

The man told police he was walking in the 4000 block of Elgin when three young men came up to him and asked to use his cell phone.  One of them then showed a gun and demanded the victim's cell phone and wallet.

The men then fled on foot north toward Rosalee.  A description of the robbers has not been released at this time.  Anyone with information on this crime is urged to contact police.

This is the second armed robbery on campus in recent months.  In April, a student was robbed at gunpoint as they walked near campus.
