ALIPAC Tracking Lawmakers Supporting Amnesty

As President Obama visits Mexico, the group ALIPAC is working to keep U.S. Senators honest about the White House amnesty proposal.

ALIPAC's William Gheen says they're tracking which lawmakers are for or against the legislation; the reason is two-fold.

"One, to help American activists call and lobby against the bill more accurately," Gheen tells KTRH News.  "And two, to hopefully hold these lawmakers accountable in the 2014 elections for working to help illegal immigrants instead of American citizens during this time of great suffering in our country."

"The entire thing that's happening across the country right now where they're giving licenses to illegals, in-state tuition to illegals, and trying to give amnesty to illegal immigrants, it all seems to be predicated upon the plan for most Democrats to vote for it and a couple of treacherous Republicans," he says.

Gheen adds neither Texas senator has come out in support of the president's plan, but that doesn't mean they won't support a different amnesty proposal.
