If you get malware from a web site it's probably your fault. Internet security firm McAfee has compiled a list of the celebrities it considers most likely to infect your machine if you search Google using their names.
Cyber security expert Robert Siciliano has a tip -- don't search for nude pictures of celebrities.
"Unfortunately there is a significant lack of common sense when it comes to web searching. People are very impulsive and ultimately the bad guy knows this and their goal is to take consumers down the rabbit hole."
Nine of the ten most dangerous celebrities for which to search are women -- 'Mad Men' star John Hamm is the only man on the list. As always, use an anti-virus program and keep it up to date and install operating system updates and you should be fine.
"Certainly, as long as you have anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-phishing and a firewall and you have your operating system updated with the latest critical security patches you're gonna be in much better shape than the next guy."
