Monday’s 2014 Emmy Awards honored the best in television from the past year.
Seth Meyers hosted this year’s ceremony, which turned out to be something of a snooze fest overall. He opened with a monologue skewering everything from the TV industry to the fact that the ceremony was being held on a Monday.
The host was not shy about taking shots at network television — and even his own employer, NBC — as competitors like HBO and Netflix rack up hits.
It’s definitely worth watching.
