A new rider orientation, recommended for all first-time riders participating in the 2015 BP MS 150, will be held at 6 p.m. March 11 at Bay Area Cycling, 16864 Hwy. 3, Webster. Attendees will learn how to train, what to eat before and during the ride, and what to expect on the event's weekend. The 31st Houston-to-Austin ride is April 18-19, benefiting families impacted by multiple sclerosis. Nearly 13,000 cyclists are expected. For orientation registration and information, see main.nationalmssociety.org/. To ride in the event, see BPMS150.net. The orientation fee is included in the $130 ride registration fee. Riders must meet the $400 minimum fundraising requirement prior to picking up their packets.
